Ellie Jane Goulding was born in Hereford England on December 30 1986. Tracey Goulding Summers, her mother worked at a grocery store. Arthur Goulding is the father. Goulding is the second child of the family, has an older sister named Isabel along with a younger sister named Jordan. Alex, Goulding's brother, plays bass. Goulding is also a Hereford musician. In her early years, his mother urged her to take up music. As a young girl, she began taking classes in clarinet.
